My philosophy has always been to first and foremost treat each person with respect. My main goal as a practitioner is to provide a supportive, inclusive environment that cultivates a patient’s active engagement in their health by having active discussions about their treatment options. By educating and informing my patients, I believe they are able to take a more active role in their health journey.
I also understand that not everyone has the means and resources (whether its time, finances, support, etc) and I honor what patients are willing to do for their own health and support my patients by meeting them where they are at. However, I do have the expectation that patients must be accountable in reaching their own health goals. I can be supportive with tools and information, but it is ultimately the patient that has control over their healing process.
I am a naturopathic primary care doctor who’s focus is preventative health, women’s health and digestive health. I am a native to Seattle area who received education at University of Washington and Bastyr University.
