An early mentor suggested that I look into naturopathic medicine. She was the first to show me that as a naturopathic doctor I would be able to address not only the whole person, but the whole family using a wide variety of gentle, natural therapies. I am able to take time and listen to my patients and really get to know each and every one as individuals. I have to say that providing care for a person before she or he is even born is one of the greatest privileges that I have.
As a midwife, I am honored to attend births in family’s homes and share the intimacy of bringing the newest member of the family into this world.
