An early mentor suggested that I look into naturopathic medicine. She was the first to show me that as a naturopathic doctor I would be able to address not only the whole person, but the whole family using a wide variety of gentle, natural therapies. I am able to take time and listen to my patients and really get to know each and every one as individuals. I have to say that providing care for a person before she or he is even born is one of the greatest privileges that I have.

As a midwife, I am honored to attend births in family’s homes and share the intimacy of bringing the newest member of the family into this world.

I grew up in Gresham, Oregon with my large Hispanic family, and over the last years have been enjoying discovering my heritage. I have had a long untraditional educational path into medicine with many travel adventures, owning a chocolate business with my partner, working as a nutritionist, and consulting as a botanical and nutraceutical formulator. Each step of my journey has taught me many lessons and better prepared me to take on my biggest role in life.

My goal is to deliver effective and compassionate care to those who seek my aid. In doing this, I aim to reduce our reliance on demanding more and more from our bodies and the Earth. It’s time to stop looking for cures and start working on healing – ourselves – our relationships – and our planet. My role is to blend what I know about human nature, health, and modern and traditional medicine to help you discover your path to healing.

I work directly with my patients through office visits, telemedicine visits, and house calls. I also offer a 12 month membership model to help you dedicate yourself to your care over the long run in an affordable manner. I do this with the intent of filling in the gap of access to health care for those who cannot afford private health insurance or who are limited to high deductible plans that do not cover the care they are looking for.

Well hello, my name is Dr. Danielle Quimby Currey (she/her), and healthcare has been an ever present part of my life. Since a young age, I have lived with chronic illness – Psoriasis and Psoriatic Arthritis. Over the years, I have tried many different ways of managing my illnesses, but once I learned to stop fighting against my body and start working with it, I went from managing diseases to healing from them.

My personal health journey inspires me to help others. The healing I have seen in my children and patients drives me to continue to develop and hone the art of my practice. For this reason, I practice medicine as a Naturopathic Physician and Craniosacral Therapist. Where many people feel left behind by the pharmaceuticals and surgeries emphasized by mainstream medicine, I and my Naturopathic Physician colleagues offer a real and powerful alternative.

In addition to my passion for Naturopathic Medicine, I also enjoy gardening at my home in Gresham, OR. Spending time outdoors is important to me, and I enjoy hiking delighting in the return of my body’s ability to handle this activity. When indoors, I also enjoy knitting, cooking, and crafting herbal medicines.

I have 20 years of experience as a Naturopathic Doctor. My greatest professional joy is spending the time with you that it takes to customize your health care needs. I have taught as adjunct faculty at the National College of Natural Medicine and served on NCNM’s board of directors.

Dr. Rose, is a licensed Naturopathic Physician, who practices Natural Medicine in Portland, Oregon and the surrounding vicinity. She is a 1999 graduate of National College of Naturopathic Medicine (NCNM) in Portland, Oregon. Dr. Rose is also a Registered Nurse and has 20 plus years of experience in Critical Care nursing. She served as an Officer in the United States Air Force as a flight nurse and holds a special place in her heart for Veterans.

She has extensive knowledge of conventional and natural medicine; and their combined importance in achieving optimal health.
