I grew up in Gresham, Oregon with my large Hispanic family, and over the last years have been enjoying discovering my heritage. I have had a long untraditional educational path into medicine with many travel adventures, owning a chocolate business with my partner, working as a nutritionist, and consulting as a botanical and nutraceutical formulator. Each step of my journey has taught me many lessons and better prepared me to take on my biggest role in life.
