Integrative healthcare is at the forefront of the paradigm shift in medicine. It utilizes both, naturopathic and conventional modalities to address the underlying causes of disease, not the isolated set of symptoms. This integrative approach provides better patient outcomes than the conventional model alone by shifting the traditional disease-centered focus to a patient-centered focus. Naturopathic Physicians spend time with their patients, consider environmental, lifestyle, and genetic factors and work with the patient to individualize their treatment plan.
This therapeutic partnership empowers the patient and supports their long term health and wellness goals.

Naturopathic Medicine conveys six basic principles compatible with the natural approach to health and healing that recognizes the integrity of the whole person. First Do No Harm (Primun Non-Nocere), utilize the most natural, least invasive and least toxic therapies. Identify and Treat the Cause (Tolle Causum), illness does not occur without a cause. The Healing Power of Nature (Vis Medicatrix Naturae), the body has an inherent ability to establish, maintain, and restore health.
The healing process is ordered and intelligent; nature heals through the response of the life force. Treat The Whole Person (Tolle Totum); health and disease are conditions of the whole organism, a whole involving the complex interaction of many factors. The physician must treat the whole person. The Physician as Teacher (Docere), a cooperative doctor-patient relationship has inherent therapeutic value.
Prevention (Praevenire), the ultimate goal of any health care system should be the prevention of disease.

I don’t use a cookie cutter approach when it comes to medicine. I cater to each individual and their medical needs.
