Dr. Winter combines the most recent medical research with traditional natural therapies to create treatment protocols tailored to each individual’s needs. She is an Arizona native, and earned her bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science from Northern Arizona University. Her continued interest in the abilities of the human body led to her medical degree from the Southwest College of Naturopathic Medicine.
At SCNM she learned the true importance of addressing mind, body, and spirit to achieve total wellness, which she incorporates, into every patient’s visit. Dr. Winter discovered her passion for pain management, and continued training in prolotherapy and PRP prolotherapy from the American Osteopathic Association of Prolotherapy Regenerative Medicine. Dr. Winter specializes in alternative pain therapies to effectively treat conditions ranging from acute injuries to chronic pain.
Her expertise in clinical nutrition, injection therapies, nutritional IV therapy, botanical medicine, acupuncture, and hormone replacement therapy has made her successful in treating a variety disorders. In her free time Dr. Winter enjoys hiking, biking, rock climbing, cooking and spending time with family and friends.
