Health is more than the absence of symptoms. I love working hand in hand with my patients to generate individualized care plans that work at addressing the underlying causes of disease and restore health. This is done together, utilizing the least invasive techniques available, and those best suited to the individual patients. My approach is person centered rather than disease centered. I readily collaborate with other medical providers to optimize care as needed.

Trained in Western and Eastern medicine philosophy and techniques, I choose to emphasize nutrition, healthy lifestyle and other natural treatments while utilizing labs, imaging and other forms of modern medicine to guide best practices.

I am a licensed Naturopathic Physician (ND) in the state of Oregon. I currently work at Peterson Clinic in my hometown of Hermiston, OR. I graduated Cum Laude as Doctor of Naturopathic Medicine from the University of Bridgeport College of Naturopathic Medicine in 2017. Prior to naturopathic medical school I received my Bachelor of Science in Biology, with an emphasis in Neurobiology, from Brigham Young University – Idaho in 2011.

Throughout my education I have served in numerous leadership positions and I was recognized for excellence in academia, community service, and extracurricular activities. As a father and husband, I have a special appreciation for families and family life. Outside the time spent on patients in the clinic and after hours, I enjoy a wide variety of activities in the areas of sports, outdoor activities, and religious observance.

During a two-year religious mission to Bolivia which I became fluent in Spanish which I continue to use as needed. While I can see a large variety of conditions, I primarily focus on chronic conditions and preventative medicine for patients of all ages.
