She finds ways to make understandable the complex processes involved in health and disease, allowing her role as educator to lead her doctoring.

After the completion of her Doctor of Naturopathic Medicine at the National College of Natural Medicine in Portland Oregon, Dr. Katie moved to Seattle where she completed two years of family practice residency with Bastyr University.
She then joined Urology Northwest in 2007, gaining invaluable experience and developing a unique specialty in urological and pelvic related health disorders. In 2011 she returned her focus to family practice, including pediatrics.
