As an ND, I appreciate having time to get to know people. The first step is to identify causes of disease through clinical history, labs, and physical exam. For treatment, I focus on the foundations of health with lifestyle counseling and supportive therapies. Given a balanced environment, the body’s natural intelligence guides the healing process.
A native of Whidbey Island, I attended the University of Washington for my bachelors degree. At UW, I studied pre-medicine and health geography, participating in research into community clinics in Latin America. After school, I spent time living and working in the Mediterranean region learning about their approach to food & healthful lifestyle. I also taught kindergarten with Calyx Outdoor school on Whidbey.
My medical education began at National University of Natural Medicine in 2012. After one year, I transferred to Bastyr University, and finished school there. After graduating from Bastyr University in 2017 I passed my board exams & began practicing with Mukilteo Natural Health Clinic. When not practicing, I find balance by spending time with my wife & son, playing outside, and making music.
