Dena Nakhle Birch ND is a doctor at Purety Family Medical Clinic, an integrative health center based in Santa Barbara. She provides a comprehensive knowledge of revolutionary healing solutions for acute and chronic disease, as well as longevity and preventive medicine. Her passion is to provide an individualized approach for patient-centered care. Helping patients reach their health goals is an absolute honor for her.

She thoroughly enjoys working with patients of all ages and building relationships with them. After receiving a Bachelor’s degree in Fine Arts from the Art Institute of Chicago and Post-baccalaureate in Psychology from De Paul University, Dena Nakhle Birch was awarded her doctorate degree in Naturopathic Medicine from Southwest College of Naturopathic Medicine. After graduating from naturopathic medical school, Dena Nakhle Birch underwent extensive board examinations to become certified as a Naturopathic Doctor and licensed in the state of California as a primary care doctor.

She has also achieved further certifications in order to further her education, expertise, and bring the special therapies she offers to the community. Dena greatly enjoys doing things to keep her inner child alive. She has an excellent yoga practice, enjoys hiking, scuba diving, snowboarding, mountain biking, cooking, fine arts, travel, and of course spending time with her family. She fosters a daily practice of connecting her spiritual, mental, and physical self in order to give the highest quality of service to her community.

She is also fluent in Spanish and Italian.
