Greg Robertson, ND

Dr. Greg Robertson, ND
205 Clark Pl Se
Tumwater, Washington, 98501
Phone: (360) 570-0401

Dr. Greg is passionate about helping patients understand the underlying cause of their health problems and about helping them access the innate healing potential that resides within them. He believes health is a reflection of physical, emotional, mental, energetic and spiritual balance. Chronic conditions do not appear overnight nor do they usually recede with just a single treatment.

Dr. Greg Robertson’s interest in natural medicine began early in life due to his love of nature and interest in the healing properties of plants. He completed his premedical training and earned his B. S. at the University of Wyoming, focusing his Biology degree in Botany. Frustrated with how special interest groups were dominating physician care, Dr. Greg turned his attention to natural medicine. He completed his medical training at Southwest College of Naturopathic Medicine, followed by an internship focusing on the holistic treatment of metabolic disruption and by advanced training in IV nutritional therapy and in regenerative injection therapies from the American College of Osteopathic Sclerotherapeutic Pain Management.

Before coming to Heart of Wellness, Dr. Greg ran the IV and injection therapies program for Dr. Dietrich Klinghardt, MD, PhD at Sophia Health Seattle. Dr. Greg specializes in helping people heal from chronic conditions including injury and pain, chronic infection, environmental toxicity, nutritional deficiency, gastrointestinal problems, pH balancing, addiction, and dysfunctional reactions to stress.

In addition, he also works with people suffering from acute conditions from such things as infections or trauma. Dr. Greg strives to utilize the most effective and advanced evidence-based treatments available to assist his patients in achieving their own optimal level of wellness. In addition to helping his patients make healthy lifestyle choices, especially with regards to diet, sleep and exercise, he commonly utilizes autonomic response testing, detoxification protocols, herbal medicine, nutritional supplementation, and oxidative therapy.

He also teaches his patients highly effective mind-body techniques for stress reduction. For orthopedic injuries he utilizes osteopathic manipulation, physical therapy and regenerative injection therapies such as prolotherapy, neural therapy, ozone and prolozone therapy, autologous platelet rich plasma injections, hyaluronic acid injections and apitherapy. For many patients regenerative injection therapies are excellent alternatives to surgery, and can result in quicker healing, shorter recovery times, less reliance on medications, improvement in activities of daily living, improvement in quality of life, and return to physical activities.

In addition to being an excellent stand-alone treatment, regenerative injection therapies can complement and help potentiate the effects of physical therapy and other rehabilitative treatments such as chiropractic, acupuncture, and massage therapy. Dr. Greg is passionate about helping patients understand the underlying cause of their health problems and about helping them access the innate healing potential that resides within them.

He believes health is a reflection of physical, emotional, mental, energetic and spiritual balance. Chronic conditions do not appear overnight nor do they usually recede with just a sleep.

During my time at NUNM (previously NCNM) and through residency, I had the incredible opportunity to intern with Dr. Steven Sandberg-Lewis, a well-known naturopathic physician with extensive experience in naturopathic gastroenterology. I also trained under the gracious guidance of Dr. Allison Siebecker in the understanding and treatment of SIBO. My naturopathic training has provided me with an extensive tool kit for approaching common health struggles through a unique lens.

I combine conventional diagnostics and treatment with botanical medicine, nutrient supplementation, body work, nutritional counseling, homeopathy, and lifestyle intervention. It is also a personal mission of mine to provide access to gender affirming care for transgender or gender neutralon-binary persons per WPATH standards. I work to develop care plans based on individual needs, which can include hormone prescriptions, androgen blocking, surgical referrals, or help with documentation, among other items.

I graduated from the National University of Natural Medicine (NUNM, previously NCNM) with a doctorate in Naturopathic Medicine, and completed two years of post-graduate residency training in Primary Care and Naturopathic Gastroenterology. I currently practice primary care at West Seattle Natural Medinicine with a wonderful and skilled group of naturopathic doctors. I came to Naturopathic Medicine after a career in Environmental Planning, which I loved, but left me wanting a deeper sense of meaning and connection in my work.

Being a Naturopathic Doctor (ND) provides me with just that! I feel so grateful to have found a career that allows me to not only engage my intellectual curiosity, but also my love and care for others. I believe that we are here to heal each other (ok, I stole that from a yogi tea bag, but it’s true!), and it is my personal and professional goal to move towards presence, vitality, and a deeply embodied sense of peace.

Vaishali Verma, ND

Dr. Vaishali Verma, ND
5300 Tallman Ave Nw
Seattle, Washington, 98107
Phone: (360) 362-5238

I focus on preventative care in my practice relying on an individual’s complete medical history, family history, social history, mental health, genetics, known environmental exposures, diet and lifestyle to inform our work together. I take time to listen to my patients’ story in a non-judgmental way and provide them space to share what they have been going through. I work with my patients using an integrated Ayurvedic and Naturopathic approach to create a unique treatment plan for them.

My treatment recommendations are based on patient compliant. I educate them about the reason behind my recommendations. I encourage and motivate them to take care of themselves. My goals are to facilitate healing in my patients, help them achieve optimal health, and maintain wellness for a lifetime.

I was born and raised in India. I grew up running the halls of my father’s integrative medical practice and I was inspired by him to pursue medicine. I studied Ayurvedic medicine for 5. 5 years in India. During my final year in school, I assisted my father in his clinic, which helped increase my clinical skills. After the completion of my education, I worked as an OB/GYN resident in a hospital in India and gained hands on experience in midwifery and women’s health.

I moved to United States in 2006 and decided to continue my clinical education by pursuing 4 year ND degree through Bastyr University. I draw out from modalities such as Ayurvedic medicine, Botanical medicine, Physical medicine, Homeopathy, Nutrition, and Hydrotherapy in my practice. I developed special interest in Pediatrics after the birth of my daughter. She has taught me to be a better doctor and still teaching me every day about childhood development.

Outside of work I enjoy cooking healthy meals for my family, listening to music, dancing, exploring the city with friends, and teaching my daughter to enjoy nature.
