Dr. Borys embodies the principle of Docere (Doctor as Teacher) and works hard to engage and educate his patients. He believes knowledge is empowering and that it allows patients to take a deeper look into their healthcare to make lasting positive changes. Dr. Borys believes in individualized care using the least invasive treatments for his patients. He strives to combine up-to-date science with age-old wisdom of natural non-toxic therapies to provide an integrated approach to healthcare.
He works with patients of all ages and backgrounds, and can provide support for patients at all stages of life. He manages patients as a primary care provider – addressing acute and chronic complaints, counseling on prevention, and performing annual exams. Dr. Borys also offers pain management visits and uses an individualized approach to pain management.
Dr. Chad Borys is a Naturopathic Doctor practicing in Santa Cruz, CA. Dr. Borys is passionate about regenerative medicine therapies for helping patients to live pain free and regain mobility. His goal is to help people live their best lives. He helps athletes get back to their sport, fast and pain free, and helps others avoid orthopedic surgery through carefully selected therapies including joint regeneration techniques.
Dr. Borys is a graduate of Seattle’s Bastyr University and a licensed Naturopathic Doctor in California. After graduating, he completed a 2 year residency in family medicine at one of the oldest naturopathic clinics in the country. Dr. Borys also has additional training in CranioSacral Therapy, Applied Kinesiology, Kinesio Taping, Visceral Manipulation, Dural Compression technique, Trigger Point Injection Therapy (BioPuncture), and acupuncture NADA training.
Outside of his work as a physician, Dr. Borys enjoys playing soccer, rock climbing, skiing, juggling, working in the garden, making and eating delicious food with his family and brewing herbal beers and ciders. Dr. Borys is currently accepting new patients and he looks forward to helping you along your journey.
