Sarah Coultas ND is a primary care naturopathic physician, licensed in Hawaii and Washington State. Dr. Coultas received her Bachelor’s degree in Social Sciences, with emphasis in Cultural Anthropology and Woman’s Studies, from Washington State University and went on to receive her Doctorate of Naturopathic medicine from Bastyr University in Kenmore, Washington. Prior to her medical training, Dr. Coultas maintained her licensed massage practice since 1997 with advanced training in polarity, shiatsu (japanese acupressure), visceral manipulation, neuromuscular technique and cranial sacral therapy.
Dr. Coultas’ philosophy centers on identifying and treating the root cause of an illness rather than just the symptoms, using the body’s innate ability to heal itself when given the tools it needs. When treating a patient, Dr. Coultas evaluates the person’s symptoms, performs physical examination & laboratory testing to seek the root of his or her condition.
