She has taught pediatric clinical rotations at Southwest College of Naturopathic Medicine’s Hamilton School clinic, as well as a rotation in general family medicine, mental health and addiction support at the Changing Lives Center—a rehabilitation center established by the Phoenix Rescue Mission for women recovering from drug and alcohol abuse, homelessness, domestic violence and PTSD.
Dr. Lan has been an avid, lifelong student of science, biology, health, alternative and integrative medicines, nutrition and homeopathy. She received a Bachelor of Science degree in zoology with an emphasis in ecology from Colorado State University. After graduating college, she began working for an alternative health company where she was first introduced to homeopathy and inspired by the use of alternative medicine.
