I grew up in the heart of the (polluted) Texas oil industry, and suffered from strange skin reactions, allergies, borderline asthma, and hormonal imbalances, that Western MDs failed to diagnose. Therefore I took my health into my own hands. I began to research natural remedies as early as high school. In college, I majored in Human Physiology. And later I became a licensed acupuncturist and naturopathic doctor on a mission to understand my own health and treat my patients with a more effective and holistic approach to healing. The human body is extraordinary, and I have been studying it for most of my life.

Dr. Bier is a naturopathic doctor and a licensed acupuncturist. He began his undergraduate work in Chemistry with a specialization in Biochemistry before transferring to Bastyr University, where he earned a Masters of Science in Acupuncture and a Doctorate in Naturopathic Medicine. He completed a residency in Family Practice at Southwest College of Naturopathic Medicine, and earned a Ph.D. in Human Services with a focus on Therapeutic Nutrition from Capella University.
