Dana Lerman is a Naturopathic Doctor and Yoga teacher. She maintains a private practice in Toronto and teaches classes for the public on various health topics.

Dana works primarily with nutrition, herbs, lifestyle modification, stress reduction and yoga to enhance and promote health. She works individually with people, encouraging gentle and sustained lifestyle and dietary changes, and an exploration of self and relationship. Dana works with the assistance of nature’s medicines, and the healing potential that resides in each person.

Education

Dana trained as a Naturopathic Doctor at the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine in Toronto. She has a BA in Psychology from York University, and studied Yoga in a two year teacher training at the Vidya Institute in Toronto.

While studying Naturopathy, Dana interned with herbalists in Canada and the United States, learning the identification, cultivation, preparation and therapeutic use of medicinal herbs. In her fourth year of study Dana, interned at Anishwanabe health center, and trained under Sat Dharam Kaur in the Healthy Breast Initiative, an eight week clinician training program.

Dana has traveled extensively both nationally and internationally to train with recognized leaders in the healing arts. As part of her ongoing training in Ayurveda, she has studied with Dr. Vasant Lad at the Ayurvedic Institute in New Mexico, Swamini Mayatitananda in North Carolina, and is currently studying through the American Institute of Vedic Studies. She has studied Reiki in Toronto and India.
