Alanna Dyment, ND is a licensed naturopathic doctor in Ontario. She attended Brock University in St. Catharines, Ontario for 4 years and attained a Bachelor of Science (Neuroscience), Honours. The state of Arizona has the widest scope of practice for naturopaths. I have been practicing as a naturopathic physician since 1993. For 10 years prior to entry into naturopathic medicine, I worked at McMaster University teaching hospital in Hamilton Ontario. There, I worked as a registered nurse for 10 years in critical care areas including emergency, ICU, paediatric ICU, neonatal ICU and coronary care. I also taught neurological critical care nursing to registered nurses at Conestoga College, Ontario.

I am passionate about surfing, snowboarding, mountain biking, spin class at the Y, yoga, camping, travelling, hiking with my dogs, playing the guitar, and spending time with friends and family.

?I competed at four Canadian National championships while on the Ontario provincial snowboard race team and was Ontario provincial champion, snowboard parallel giant slalom 2002-2004; this background helps me relate to my athletic patients who come to see me for sports injuries
