Dr. Vaishna Sathiamoorthy, B. Sc. (Hons), ND graduated from the University of Waterloo with an Honours Bachelor of Science degree in Biomedical Science. Dr. Sathiamoorthy’s passion for helping others led her to pursue her Doctor of Naturopathic Medicine at the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine. While at the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine, she received clinical training at the Robert Schad Naturopathic Teaching Clinic and was on the adjunctive cancer care shift.
She also completed further clinical training at the Sherbourne Health Centre working with HIV patients, and at the Brampton Naturopathic Teaching Clinic, one of the first naturopathic clinics in Canada to be established within a hospital setting. Dr. Sathiamoorthy has an interest in fertility care, naturopathic oncology and women’s health. Dr. Sathiamoorthy provides individualized patient care and focuses on providing natural treatments that address the underlying cause of one’s health concerns.
Dr. Sathiamoorthy draws from clinical experience and uses safe natural, evidence-based medicine to help patients achieve optimal health and wellbeing. Outside of clinical practice, Dr. Sathiamoorthy is a faculty member at the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine and enjoys teaching students in various medical and naturopathic courses. Additionally, Dr. Sathiamoorthy serves as a board examiner for the Ontario clinical examinations for new graduates entering clinical practice, and is part of the volunteer committee for the College of Naturopaths of Ontario.
Dr. Sathiamoorthy is registered and in good standing with the College of Naturopaths of Ontario. She is a member of the Oncology Association of Naturopathic Physicians, the Ontario Association of Naturopathic Doctors, and the Canadian Association of Naturopathic Doctors.
