Dr. Suzanne McMurry offers convenient telemedicine naturopathic cancer appointments anywhere you are. Dr. McMurry is a specialist in naturopathic cancer treatment, she works with you to increase the effectiveness and reduce the side effects of your standard cancer treatment methods through the convenience of your phone, tablet or computer. Her goal is to work with you to determine the most effective scientifically based natural solutions that will enhance and optimize your standard cancer treatments, such as surgery, radiation, chemotherapy, hormonal and biological therapies.
Dr. McMurry has a specialty in integrative naturopathic cancer treatment, one of the only naturopathic doctors annually to complete a hospital based residency in integrative cancer treatment. She graduated in 2011 from Bastyr University in Kenmore, Washington with a medical degree in Naturopathic Medicine. At that time cancer had already touched her family. Her father had been diagnosed with a rare form of pancreatic cancer, treatable only with conventional surgery.
Soon after, her father-in-law was diagnosed with lung cancer. Through these personal experiences she sought to attend one of only four accredited hospital-based residency’s offered annually in Integrative Oncology. In 2013 she completed a two year residency at Indiana University Health Goshen. During her residency she collaborated with oncologists, radiation oncologists, surgeons, primary care physicians, dietitians, mental health counselors and acupuncturists, delivering collaborative, evidence-based integrated cancer care.
She is excited to increase access to integrative oncology with on-demand, video appointments to patients who currently have a cancer diagnosis all over the country. By adding natural treatment regimens, your health will be optimized especially during this stressful and overwhelming time. She is currently headquartered in Seattle, Washington, where she lives with her husband, three beautiful children and dog.
