I am an integrative primary care physician and mental health counselor, with continued studies in Ayurveda. I believe in a wholistic approach to brain health; it is impossible to treat a part and expect lasting progress or change. The dual licensure gives me an eclectic set of tools. My mental health counseling background provided me with solid skills in psychotherapy (talk therapy), CBT, DBT, TF-CBT, existentialism, motivational interviewing, and bibliotherapy (just to name a few:>) Naturopathic medicine has allowed me an enriching way to order diagnostic tests (bloodwork, imaging, etc.
), specialty tests (heavy metals, hormones, neurotransmitters, etc. ), treat chronic pain, manage medication and understand the emerging field of nutritional psychiatry. Further, my certification as a Biofeedback therapist has given me the ability to teach a patient how to control the nervous system, thereby, decreasing stressful symptoms, including those created by traumatic events. Wholistic well-being is a process – a continuing evolution of self.

I am a board certified Naturopathic Physician licensed in the State of Washington. I earned my Naturopathic degree from National University of Natural Medicine (NUNM) in Portland, Oregon. I have an extensive experience in managing broad medical conditions based on my past experience and training at NUNM. In 1989, I earned an international bachelor degree in Medicine (M. B. B. Ch) specializing in Internal Medicine, Endocrinology and Cardiology from universities overseas.
I empower and guides my patients to choose the best treatment to achieve their health goals. Every patient is treated as an individual, recognizing and appreciating the differences of each one. I strive to treat the patient as a whole and to eliminate root causes of the imbalance in body physiology. Within the scope of my practice as Naturopathic Physician, I utilize multiple approaches, including but not limited to, herbal, nutritional, homeopathic, hydrotherapy and pharmaceuticals, when need is indicated.
I am a member of Washington Association of Naturopathic Physicians (WANP). When away from the office, I enjoy reading, gardening, and time with family and friends.
