Our care philosophy is to give each patient the individualized attention that their body needs. The acupuncturist sees pain and illness as expressions of an imbalance within the body’s system of energy. These imbalances are diagnosed and treated in relation to the whole person (whereas standard western medicine tends to treat only the specific symptoms of the disease). By combining ancient wisdom with modern care, we are able to help people to to restore balance and vitality to their lives.
Dr. Harris is a fourth generation natural healer and acupuncturist. He grew up in beautiful southern Oregon, and attended Five Branches University where he obtained his Masters degree in traditional Chinese medicine. Dr. Harris has since gone on to obtain a Doctorate from Pacific College of Oriental Medicine where he further specialized in women’s health and auricular medicine. He has interned at the ivy league Zhejiang University in Hangzhou, China, and in 2019 was the lead acupuncturist for the Beckley VA medical center.
A leader in the field of neuromuscular pain medicine, Dr. Harris enjoys working with veterans and helping them overcome their pain. When he’s not with his patients, you will will find him in nature, hiking the mountains of Southern Oregon.
