I became a Doctor because of my passion for helping people, healing and teaching; and I believe Naturopathic Medicine is the best way to achieve those goals.I maintain that the essence of being a good doctor is to focus on the fundamentals.
Meaning…
– Listening and taking the time to connect with each patient
– Making or clarifying diagnoses by looking at ALL of your symptoms, labs, physical exams and personal/family history
– Putting a heavy focus on lifestyle, nutrition, digestion, sleep, mental health and disease prevention
– Collaborating with your existing healthcare team to provide a truly integrative approach
I believe that you deserve someone who takes the time to listen, puts the time into helping you and is always open to trying new things if past treatments aren’t working.
I received my honours Bachelor of Science (ENV) degree from the University of Guelph where I majored in Ecology. I then went on to the four-year post-graduate program at the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine to achieve my Doctor of Naturopathy degree. Upon graduation, I was honoured to be awarded the prestigious Joyce Vanderburgh Scholarship for demonstrating outstanding clinical performance and patient interaction. During my internship year, I gained additional experience on the competitive Fibromyalgia and Chronic Fatigue Syndrome focus shift.

Dr. Jody Snider, ND.
Doctor of Naturopathic Medicine
In 2010, I completed four years of graduate study at the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine (CCNM), in Toronto, ON. My studies included a one year internship at the Robert Schad Naturopathic Clinic (RSNC), as well as a placement at the Sherbourne Health Centre, treating patients with HIV and AIDS. I am currently a member of the Canadian Association of Naturopathic Doctors (CAND), and am registered with the Board of Directors of Drugless Therapy- Naturopathy (BDDT-N).
One thing you will quickly learn about me is how passionate I am about the practice of naturopathic medicine. Everyday I am amazed at how powerful our tools and treatments are, and how profoundly they can change a life for the better.
I am a partner, a mother, a sister, a daughter, but most importantly, a person. I am flawed (even I indulge in a few french fries every once in a while!) and do not expect my patients to be perfect! I am dedicated to providing an environment free of judgement, one in which you feel safe to discuss whatever is on your mind.
Please feel free to call, send me an e-mail, or stop by either of my locations with ANY of your questions, concerns, or just to chat!
