My approach to healing considers you as a unique dynamic being. I provide holistic, individualized care for all ages. I utilize naturopathic, functional medicine, and traditional Chinese medicine perspectives while also considering conventional standards of care. Using these healing approaches enables me to assess and treat your symptoms even if they do not fit into a western biomedical diagnosis or if you do not respond/tolerate or desire conventional medical treatment.
Dr. James Fialk, ND, L. Ac is a licensed naturopathic doctor (ND) and Acupuncturist (L. Ac). At Wellspring Natural Medicine, Dr. Fialk specializes in integrative family medicine and orthopedics. Dr. Fialk graduated with honors from the National College of Natural Medicine (NCNM). He then went on to earn a doctorate in acupuncture and traditional Chinese medicine (DACM) from the American College of Traditional Chinese Medicine (ACTCM) at CIIS, in San Francisco.
During his medical training, Dr. Fialk gained clinical experience as an integrative primary care provider throughout the greater Portland, Oregon area. Upon graduation, Dr. Fialk was selected for the post-doctorate residency program at his alma mater, NCNM, where he received advanced clinical training. During his clinical acupuncture training, he took special interest in orthopedics/sports medicine and pain management in addition to general internal medicine.
In addition to his private practice, Dr. Fialk provides Integrative care at Santa Rosa Community Health Center and is adjunct faculty at American College of Traditional Chinese medicine at California Institute of Integral Studies.
