Dr. Timothy Schwaiger graduated with his naturopathic medical degree from Southwest College of Naturopathic Medicine (SCNM) in Tempe Arizona. He holds an undergraduate degree in Behavioral Sciences and a Masters’ degree in Health Services Management and has over 30 years’ healthcare related experience. Dr. Schwaiger completed a two-year residency at SCNM in Family Medicine. He recently served as Chief Medical Officer at Bastyr University California before moving to Prescott with his wife Debra and two dogs Earann and Chloe.

As a naturopathic doctor with a concentration in women’s medicine, I am passionate about assisting those interested in leading healthier lives. Cheryl Hamilton, NMD, began her healthcare career over 35 years ago. She earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Food Science and Nutrition from Colorado State University; worked in the health and fitness industry; owned a nutritional counseling business; taught collegiate nutrition, health and wellness courses; and raised four children before attending the Southwest College of Naturopathic Medicine to become a naturopathic medical doctor with a concentration in women’s health.
She chose women’s health because she feels that since women give birth and are the primary nurturers of children, women have the greatest influence on future generations. Helping women to reach their full potential of health and wellbeing also improves the lives that those women influence. Dr. Hamilton established the Health and Healing Center in Prescott, Arizona. Since endocrinology is integral to women’s health, she spends a great deal of time reviewing current research on the subjects of thyroid and adrenal health, bio-identical hormone therapy and the influence of environmental toxicology on the endocrine system.
She particularly enjoys helping patients with menopause, PMS, PMDD, PCOS, insomnia/fatigue, thyroid disorders, weight control and diabetes management. She firmly believes the foundation of physiological and psychological health is a healthy gastrointestinal tract and consumption of organic, nutrient dense foods. She is passionate about teaching her patients about food and gut health and writes articles on the subject for several publications.
Research developments in the role of the gut microbiome and its relationship to body weight, immune homeostasis, autoimmunity and mental emotional health; small intestinal bowel overgrowth (SIBO); and irritable bowel syndrome (IBS) are her special interests. Dr. Hamilton is a member of the Gastroenterology Association of Naturopathic Physicians and has served on the board. Dr. Hamilton has also completed postgraduate training in Clinical Applications and Advanced Topics on IV nutrient Therapy; Heavy Metal Toxicology and Clinical chelation: EDTA, DMPS, DMSA; prolotherapy and platelet rich plasma injection therapy via the American Osteopathic Association and the American Association of Osteopathic Medicine; and aesthetic medicine via the Clear Skin Institute and Beverly Hills R.
N. Dr. Hamilton recently established Choose Vibrant Living, a health education 501(C)(3) nonprofit organization so she can inspire a broader population to adopt a healthy diet and lifestyle. In her downtime, Dr. Hamilton enjoys writing, reading, cooking healthy food, gardening and food preservation and hiking.

Dr. Harris is a native of Prescott, Arizona. She currently lives with her husband and daughter in Prescott and enjoys everything that the Prescott area has to offer. She loves hiking and camping in the pines, and exploring Prescott with her daughter Lily. While in school to become a Naturopathic Doctor, she focused on Environmental Medicine, Women’s Health and Botanical Medicine. She has gained experience from some of the top naturopathic doctors in those areas over the 4 years spent there, and has developed comprehensive treatment plans for a wide variety of diseases that can be modified to treat you as a patient.
Dr. Harris graduated from Northern Arizona University in 2005 with a B. A. in Elementary and Special Education and a B. S. in Spanish. Before going to school at SCNM, she taught at the high school level for 4 years, and brings her experience teaching to her practice by giving informational talks and presentations in a variety of venues. She graduated from the Southwest College of Naturopathic Medicine in 2013 and has been in practice since then.
Dr. Harris now focuses primarily on aesthetic medicine, and specializes in the treatment of fine lines and wrinkles, along with moderate to severe lines in the face.
