Dr. Kimberly Sanders is an autoimmune and arthritis specialist. At ArthroWell Naturopathic, we specialize in the natural treatment of arthritis and autoimmune disease. We are trained to find the cause of what triggered the disease for you. We are also trained to keep on top of all the current medical research about these diseases, and we are specially trained to treat these conditions with evidence-based natural therapies.
We will work with your Rheumatologist (or other health care provider) to create the ultimate treatment plan to bring you back to pain-free health. As a new patient of ArthroWell Naturopathic, we will take a comprehensive health history, perform a thorough physical examination, and then explain our unique protocol and approach for your case. We will explain what the latest research tells us about your diagnosis, and we will thoroughly explain how natural medicine can work for you.
On your first visit, we will order lab testing to give us more information about the underlying cause, and we may recommend a series of acupuncture or physiotherapeutic treatments for pain management based on your case. Unlike many specialists in the state of Connecticut, the Physicians at ArthroWell Naturopathic will treat your whole person in order to alleviate your arthritis and autoimmune disease.
We understand that the body is a whole system that must be treated as one unit. We will not only focus on your diagnosis, but also focus on your digestion, stress, mental health, fatigue, and many other areas. We specialize in the natural management of patients with the following conditions: Rheumatoid Arthritis, Osteoarthritis (Degenerative Joint Disease), Psoriasis, Psoriatic Arthritis, Lyme disease, Fibromyalgia, Autoimmune Thyroid Disease (Hashimoto’s Thyroiditis / Grave’s Disease), undiagnosed joint pain, Crohn’s Disease, Ulcerative Colitis, Osteoporosis, Lupus (SLE), Juvenile Idiopathic Arthritis (all subtypes), Still’s Disease, Vasculitis (all subtypes, adult and pediatric), Henoch Schonlein Purpura, Temporal Arteritis, Multiple Sclerosis, Scleroderma / CREST Syndrome, Polymyositis, Dermatomyositis, Polymyalgia Rheumatica, Sjogren’s Syndrome, Raynaud’s Syndrome, Gout, Ankylosing Spondylitis, Complex Regional Pain Syndrome, Chronic Fatigue Syndrome, Interstitial Cystitis, and PANDAS.
