I approach health with holistic philosophy of medicine. I believe mental, emotional, and physical components all need to be adequately addressed in order to achieve optimal health. My goal is to combine the best of modern medicine with the most effective alternative therapies in order to offer a customized approach to each person’s health challenged that’s specifically tailored to their individual needs.
Dr. McAllister is a California licensed Naturopathic Doctor. He graduated summa cum laude from the University of New Hampshire and later with honors from Southwest College of Naturopathic Medicine in Tempe, Arizona. He then went on to complete a general medicine residency. Dr. McAllister has served as faculty at several health-care institutions including Bastyr University in San Diego. Dr. McAllister combines the best of modern medicine with the most effective alternative therapies in order to offer a customized approach to each person’s health challenges specifically tailored to their individual needs.
Dr. McAllister received specialized trained in Prolotherapy from the Hackett-Hemwall Foundation. Prolotherapy is a type of injection therapy designed to rehabilitate damaged tendons, ligaments, and joints as well as reduce pain. He finds this therapy extremely effective and one of the few that adequately addresses these issues. Dr. McAllister is originally from Maine where he was instilled with an intense fascination with nature.
In his free time he enjoys foreign travel, cooking, hiking, and wildflower photography.
