As a Naturopathic Doctor, Dr. Cameron’s main focus is working with the patient to treat the cause of their disease, and not merely give them something to make alleviate their symptoms, though sometimes that is necessary. He does this by using a holistic approach, looking at all aspects of a patient life to help each patient achieve their highest potential in health.
Dr. Cameron is a Licensed Naturopathic Physician specializing in sports medicine, and natural pain relief diabetes and men’s health. He identifies the cause of his patients’ discomfort, rather than temporarily relieving symptoms only to have them reoccur. He employs a holistic approach that includes mind, body, and spirit; utilizing natural remedies to treat pain at its source. Working with patients, Dr.
Cameron asks questions that lead to solutions, including natural remedies, homeopathy, nutritional recommendations, and relief for sports injuries. His goal is to help his patients reach their highest potential through a healthy lifestyle. Dr. Cameron is passionate about finding natural solutions to chronic pain. After sustaining an injury in high school that became chronic and prevented continued engagement in sports, he became passionate about treating joint pain to help other athletes continue to play their sport.
When Dr. Cameron found Prolotherapy, it allowed him to get back to playing hockey and hiking without pain or the concern of re-injury. As a graduate of the Southwest College of Naturopathic Medicine, he has experience and success treating patients with a variety of medical problems. These include, but are not limited to, fibromyalgia, chronic fatigue, sleep disorders, and thyroid issues. He has spent time working in private practice and at a diabetes treatment facility in southern California.
He can serve as Primary Care Provider for patients of all ages who suffer from a multitude of medical conditions. When he isn’t seeing patients, Dr. Cameron enjoys spending time with his wife, Dr. Leah Collier, and their dogs; camping, fishing, practicing yoga, gardening, and cooking. He also travels to his home city of Ontario, Canada to visit family and to fish at a lodge that his family has owned for more than 30 years.
