Marillea Yu, ND, graduated from the accredited Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine (CCNM) in Toronto, Ontario after completing the intensive four-year Doctor of Naturopathic Medicine program. She completed her clinical training at the Robert Schad Naturopathic Clinic and the Sherbourne Health Centre in Toronto, where she provided care to patients of various ages and from many walks of life.
Marillea is trained in family medicine with an emphasis on the care and prevention of chronic disease such as heart disease, diabetes, obesity, arthritis, osteoporosis, digestive complaints, and various skin conditions. She has received extensive training in the Naturopathic modalities of Clinical Nutrition, Lifestyle Counseling, Botanical/Herbal Medicine, Acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine, and Homeopathy. Additionally, she has received special training and certification in the administration of Intravenous (IV) Nutrient Therapy and Mesotherapy/Biopuncture.
