Dr. Carmen Anne Luterbach is excited to be joining Reed Family Wellness Center in January 2012. She is the new addition to a multidisciplinary team of a chiropractor, a registered massage therapist, and an acupuncturist. She will be extending her clinic hours in February to: Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays from 9am to 5pm and Saturdays from 9am to 1pm. In March, she will be participating in Nanaimo’s annual West Coast Women’s show where she will be available to answer your questions about naturopathic medicine.
After 4 years away studying naturopathy at the Boucher Institute of Naturopathic Medicine in New Westminister, Dr. Luterbach is pleased to be returning home to Vancouver Island once again! In 2007, she completed her Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of Victoria. Her education was interspersed with travel to India and Asia where she learned about traditional methods of healing like Thai massage and Ayurveda. Experience with different cultural approaches to healing and the use of nature as cure, was a definite inspiration for her pursuit of natural medicine. In addition, Dr. Luterbach’s path was influenced by her grandmother’s passion for nursing and dedication towards the health of her family.
As a naturopathic doctor Dr. Luterbach is committed to the health and well-being of her patients. She is a compassionate and sensitive physician who guides her patients along the path towards optimal wellness. Services provided include dietary modification, nutrition, lifestyle counseling, botanical medicine, homeopathy, psychological counseling, acupuncture and physical medicine.
