Dr. Johnson received his Bachelor of Science in Biological Sciences with a minor in Psychology from the University of Calgary. He then went on to complete his Doctorate in Naturopathic Medicine from Bastyr University in Seattle, Washington. After graduation Dr. Johnson completed a 1-year residency in Family Practice at the Southwest Naturopathic Medical Center in Scottsdale, Arizona. Dr. Johnson is a member of both the Alberta Association of Naturopathic Practitioners (AANP) and the Canadian Association of Naturopathic Doctors (CAND).
Dr. Johnson enjoys practicing family medicine that integrates the use of botanical medicine, homeopathy, clinical nutrition, and IV therapy. He has particular interests in gastrointestinal issues, such as GERD, IBS and inflammatory bowel disease. His interests also include general wellness concerns that include weight management, Diabetes, fatigue, and stress management.
