Bonjour! My name is Noor and I’m a licensed Naturopathic doctor. My medical career didn’t start as most doctors I know. I was gearing towards law school in Ottawa, but my health was deteriorating faster than I was hoping. I was diagnosed with severe Crohn’s disease and was spending months at the hospital, recovering from surgeries. Years later, I met a Naturopathic doctor that helped me recover and I have been in remission ever since.

Thus, my new calling to do the same for others who have suffered silently in pain. As a patient with Crohn’s disease, I know first-hand what it’s like to fight an uphill battle. As a naturopathic doctor, I believe that I can help guide you up this hill. Igraduated from the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine andhavebeen furthering my expertise in nutrition and intravenous therapy as well as digestive health, autoimmunity and pain management through continuous education.

My passion for teaching has led meto become a part-time faculty professor at the EESNQ, a naturopathic college in Montreal, where she teaches basic sciences, autoimmune diseases, emergency medicine, nutrition and integrative clinic. I was also co-chair of the membership committee for the Gastroenterology Association for Naturopathic Physicians. I offer appointments in English, French and Arabic.

Anne-Marie Lacroix, ND

Dr. Anne-Marie Lacroix, ND
Toronto, Ontario,

Anne-Marie Lacroix offers the following therapies: Therapeutic Prescribing

My interest in getting to the root cause of disease and a holistic approach to solving health problems led me to pursue a career as a Naturopathic Doctor after graduating from my Master of Science. It was during this earlier stage of my education that I had the opportunity to carry out research in a laboratory that studies the human microbiome – all the microorganisms that live on and in us that influence and affect everything from our moods to a host of other conditions such as obesity and diabetes to inflammatory bowel disease.

My research background including work during my master’s degree and summer projects at the MaRS Center and SickKids Hospital in Toronto on a variety of health issues greatly influences my practice today by helping me develop evidence-based naturopathic treatment plans that are individualized. I believe in an integrative model of care and that the blend of traditional medicine and modern science can be beneficial in the treatment and prevention of disease and the optimization of health.

I welcome all conditions both chronic and acute. My particular interests include gut health, skin care, cardiovascular disease, pain management and mental health.

After obtaining my medical degree and moving back home to Toronto, I discovered Naturopathic Medicine and fell in love with the practice and principles of Naturopathy. In becoming a Naturopathic Doctor, I obtained a real appreciation for the connection I was able to make with patients, while helping them obtain their health goals. After graduating from the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine (CCNM) and being accepted into the CCNM Clinical Residency Program, I became CCNM’s first Oncology Focused Resident.

It was during that time I learned how to integrate natural therapies with conventional cancer treatments, while working with various oncologists at Sunnybrook, Markham Stouffville, and Stronach Regional Cancer Centre at Southlake hospitals. Currently, I teach at the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine, I am a member of the Oncology Association of Naturopathic Physicians where I sit on the Physician Education Committee, and I am a research associate for an Integrative Oncology focused online database.

Using all my experience and knowledge about Integrative Care, I aim to help you improve your quality of life, achieve your wellness goals, and optimize your health and clinical outcomes. I look forward to working with you.
