Dr. Stewart encourages patients to have an active role in their pursuit of optimal health, and it is her goal to serve as an advocate for those who desire options. By merging eastern and western medicine, she is able to not only present options for treatment, but ultimately focus on the whole person (body, mind and spirit).
Dr. Stewart is a Naturopathic Doctor and Acupuncturist, licensed in the state of Maryland. Raised in south Florida in a Caribbean family, natural medicine has always remained a foundation in her approach to health. She graduated from the University of Central Florida with dual degrees in Biology and Molecular Microbiology, and then moved to Arizona to pursue her Doctoral degree in Naturopathic Medicine.
Dr. Stewart continued on to earn a Master of Science degree in Acupuncture at Phoenix Institute of Herbal Medicine and Acupuncture. She decided to move back to the east coast as an advocate for those who desire health options and Integrative medicine.
