My primary goal is to provide my patients with a broader understanding of health and a more lasting sense of well-being. Instead of the traditional disease-centered focus of conventional medicine, Naturopathy and Traditional Chinese Medicine apply a patient-centered approach that addresses the whole person, rather than simply symptoms. I combine the discipline of modern science with the wisdom of ancient healing and take advantage of the knowledge of several disciplines, including dietary therapy, healing touch, tuina therapy and psychology.
What this means is that patient and provider work together to develop an integrated diagnostic and therapeutic plan that will best address the patient’s health concern.
Lana Moshkovich is a founder and director of Nirvana Naturopathics LLC. Lana is a Licensed Acupuncturist in state of Illinois. Currently Doctoral Fellow. She holds a Master of Science in Traditional Oriental Medicine and Bachelor of Science in Nutrition from Midwest College of Oriental Medicine and Pacific College of Oriental Medicine. She went trough a 3. 5 years of Clinical Internship in Chicago land clinics.
Lana took Jingui Yaolue Training Sequence from Chicago Institute of Classics in East Asian Medicine, Canonical Chinese Medicine where she received additional knowledge in Chinese Herbology. She graduated as a Naturopathic Doctor and become Certified Natural Health Practitioner from Trinity College of Natural Health. Lana holds a Master of Pharmaceutical Science from Zaporizhya State Medical University, Ukraine, where she took a Hippocratic Oath.
