Dr. Lucas MacMillan is a naturopathic physician who was trained as both a registered nurse (RN), and as a doctor of naturopathic medicine. He is a professional member of the Canadian Association of Naturopathic Doctors (CAND), and the British Columbia Naturopathic Association (BCNA), and is the clinic director of the Delbrook Integrative Medical Centre. Dr. MacMillan relies on education and experience from his training in both the conventional and naturopathic realms to offer comprehensive assessments and treatments that are unique, personalized, and effective.
He enjoys discussing health and treatment options with his patients, and genuinely looks forward to teaching others about health, medicine, and methods to improve one’s health and wellbeing outside of the doctor’s office. He believes that understanding is a key component of improving one’s health, and he strives to educate each patient in a positive and meaningful way. He has a special interest in sports medicine, hormone optimization, and both acute and chronic pain.
He is certified in IV Therapy & chelation, acupuncture, & advanced injections including prolotherapy and platelet rich plasma (PRP). He also has prescription authority in the province of BC, is certified for aesthetic injections including PRP injections for face, stretch marks and hair regrowth, and has extra training for bio-identical hormone therapy and advanced pain management.
