I am a physician with Southwest Integrative Geriatrics (SIG). We offer integrative medicine, or the direct practice of combining conventional medicine with alternative and holistic therapies, is the backbone of our patient-centered care. The foundation of successful healthcare relies on two outcomes of medicine. One is to prevent, diagnose, and effectively treat disease, while the second involves maintaining a trusting and transparent relationship with our patients.
SIG embodies the practice of integrative medicine by evaluating the patient as a whole, with a treatment approach involving a trio of individualized goals: IMPROVING PRESENT HEALTH, PREVENTING FUTURE DISEASE, AND IMPROVING QUALITY OF LIFE. This formula is aimed for each patient under SIG’s care to truly live with thriving health all while preserving independence, and reducing the risk of adverse health outcomes (physically and monetarily) with advanced age.
