Hello Dr. Grant
I am a friend of Kimberley Robbins who has referred me to you. I am hoping to receive some insight into some options you may have for my current gastrointestinal issues. I’ve been referred to a GI specialist in Barrie however I’ve been advised it could take 9 to 12 months before I can confirm an appt with this doctor. In the meantime, I’m looking for some nutritional information that may help me. I have been having bouts of diarrhea off and on since mid December 2019 and these bouts have become more frequent. In mid-February it continued for approx 3 weeks and I was unable to eat anything except rice and rice cakes and chicken. My GP has sent me for stool samples/blood work which have come up negative. I can provide more detail once we are able to meet each other. I’m at a loss what to eat at this point and currently am eating rice/pasta/chicken and fish for the most part. With your background, I am hoping I may be able to receive more sound advice on what I could eat. I’m concerned about the lack of nutritional foods, etc
