Daniel Kellman, ND, FABNO ? Naturopathic Physician:
Daniel Kellman, a naturopathic oncology provider at CTCA at Southeastern Regional Medical Center (Southeastern), is committed to helping patients fight cancer by strengthening the body’s ability to heal itself, and supporting the whole person. We address patient needs and concerns by offering naturopathic solutions to decrease side effects of treatment and teach long-term prevention strategies, says Kellman, who is a Fellow of the American Board of Naturopathic Oncology (FABNO).
A graduate of the Southwest College of Naturopathic Medicine in Tempe, Arizona, Kellman has been in practice since 1998 working in a variety of healthcare scenarios. His experience includes the modalities of general naturopathic family practice, pain management, advanced immunology and integrative cancer care. He has also had many years of herbal, homeopathic, nutritional and pharmaceutical-prescribing experience. In addition, Kellman has lectured on a variety of health topics and has mentored naturopathic medical students.
Kellman has been a staff naturopath at CTCA since 2006, first with Southwestern Regional Medical Center in Tulsa, and then with Southeastern in 2012. He works alongside oncologists, nutritionists, psychologists, and his naturopathic colleagues as a vital part of the integrative medicine model.
Kellman appreciates being able to provide individualized attention to patients at CTCA. He and his team are able to see patients as inpatients, outpatients and even while they are receiving chemotherapy in the Infusion Center. He is also actively involved in developing new research ideas in collaboration with the oncology and research departments at Cancer Treatment Centers of America.
Kellman is past President of the Oklahoma Association of Naturopathic Physicians. He is also a member of the Oncology Association of Naturopathic Physicians, the Georgia Association of Naturopathic Physicians, the American Association of Naturopathic Physicians, and the Society for Integrative Oncology.
Some background information?
Kellman grew up in a medical family, with his father an MD and his mother a nurse midwife and nurse practitioner. He says he was influenced by both of his parents in their adherence to eating organic food fresh from the garden and living close to nature.
His father, Dr. Neil Kellman, was practicing acupuncture, herbal medicine and nutritional counseling long before it became popular. Kellman’s father also spent several years in the West Indies practicing tropical medicine and humanitarian work. Kellman says his fondest memories of his father were the times when he accompanied him on house calls. His father carried the traditional black doctor’s bag and had a cool and collected way of handling patients in distress.
Kellman always knew he wanted to be a doctor. When he discovered that he could become a licensed naturopathic physician, this path seemed to suit his background and his passions.

Daniel Kellman offers the following therapies: Acupuncture, Botanical Medicine, Clinical Nutrition, Environmental Medicine, Homeopathic Medicine, Hydrotherapy, Orthomolecular Medicine, Physical Medicine

Was his father Dr. Neil Jay Kellman, who for a period resided and practiced in Hohenwald, Lewis County, Tennessee? (and delivered my only child)
