Growing up in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Dr. Alexa Rauscher dreamed of becoming an MD. However, while attending university, Dr. Alexa experienced a life altering event which changed the course of her studies. She was in a motor vehicle accident that resulted in soft tissue damage. After several failed treatment attempts, Dr. Alexa turned to alternative options. It was during this time that she found her passion- Naturopathic Medicine.
After completing a BSc from the University of Winnipeg, Dr. Alexa moved to Vancouver, BC to pursue Naturopathic Medicine at the Boucher Institute of Naturopathic Medicine (BINM)
Dr. Alexa focuses her practice by encouraging & empowering her patients to take control of their health on their journey to physical, emotional & spiritual well-being. She believes that it’s essential to work with her patients to find the root cause of their condition. During this process, educating her patient’s is a very important aspect, allowing them to make informed decisions.
